Hello,

in july we see that joomlart make a gaming template (again)…

But there is no News templates coming (since JA Teline IV nothing is really coming))!

So is it possible to have a template like News2 from Gavick : https://www.gavick.com/joomla-templates/news-2,155.html. Clean, & fresh with the powerful T3 framework.

I know that Ja Teline IV is now responsive, but it is looking old now…

I hope my request will be heard, and quick if possible 🙂

I think JA Magz is also full filled with all features like a News template .
have you saw JA MAgz for making a new website?

Yes of course, I have tested it many times.

But there is not K2 support and the interface is not very light like news2.

There is no project about a template light for news, and with K2 support ?

Of course I already test it. Many times.

But the major thing is
– it is great but it is “just” a standard layout with no really spirit.
– and there is no support of K2

JA moved away from including/supporting K2 in it’s templates several months ago. Nevertheless, as K2 is a Joomla compatible component, you are still able to install and integrate K2 into any JoomlArt Joomla template accordingly.

As for JA Purity III being “just a standard layout with no real spirit,” … something that needs to be considered/remembered . . . . a template is merely a starting point – it’s what you do with it that makes it special.

I think they are right when they say where is news templates with something different, even though you try to point them to older templates you have to admit that they are nothing special like teline iv was, it was one of the best news templates since it was designed at a time with different modules with syling, but since then not one single template for news that had wow factor like teline series.

I know, but if I buy a template, I want to have at minimum cool & light design, great typo, modules, etc… oriented to a news templates… like the gavick pro News2.

Totally agree, we havent seen a template as complete as teline iv in over a year, with so many modules included in it with matching design options.

JA is getting lazy it seems, and is trying to put as much out as possible, maybe its time to step back and get back to the things you guys did, great template with 6-7 modules to match in design, like you had with teline template. which in turn gives us tons of options and variety to choose from when we use it.

Hi Guys,

Yes I agree Teline V is overdue. K2 support has been introduced in the last two templates (including upcoming release). I am going to remind the design team about their plans on Teline V and do hope we have something fresh for you guys in coming months. We do have a design contest going on at 99designs.com and the finalist may be the upcoming template.

If it were that simple, we could do everything with JA Purity III. But the truth is that we always need more than “just a starting point.” And that is precisely why JoomlArt continues to earn good money…

True … but there is also a difference between “mroe than a starting point” and “designing a complete/final website for you.”
