no, some people still have problems with it. I have never had this module work since it came out with the Rochea template.

I suggest using JoomlaWorks’ Universal Content Display module (UCD). It has AJAX and jquery fader and slider funcions; it can also do a plain list. It can display any content section or category–or any newsfeed or category of newsfeeds. However I have had some trouble making it work properly and consistently with all feeds. Development and support for JW extensions are good.

these guys are so close to having greatness but it eludes them becuase EVERY template has a flaw

thats the one I ended up with

I my case I traced the problem down to using the cpanel redirect of the non-www to the www domain as the culprit, as long as I didn’t do the redirect, the news flashed worked in all browsers. I didn’t try it in just using the htaccess for the redirect, maybe that will work

that’s interesting. The latest site I can’t get the newsflash on uses .htaccess to do the non-www redirect, so that may be the culprit. Shouldn’t this be an easy code problem to fix?

So… i had the alternatove flash working but decided to upgrade to 1.5 and now i don’t have the newsflash working

any solutions or can someone please take a look at it for me?
