Hi,
any ideas how I can get my newsflash module to use the same format as the latest_news – i.e. as the “did you know” on this bottom of this page here http://template.joomlart.com/ja_zibal/component/option,com_search/Itemid,5/
Basically just the little squares icon and nicer heading style? Latest news module in this position has big title and no squares!
Many thanks,
Mike

Which position do you mean? Please check if you place anything in the Module Class Suffix of that module.January 24, 2007 at 9:53 am #213566Thanks.
Position is user 1. No module suffix.
Could this be to do with the config of the collapsable module positions? I’ve added in user1 with no effect.

January 27, 2007 at 2:16 am #213748Hi cmj01,
Did you formated the content of the newsflash? Joomla! has built in the WYSIWYG editor, and when creating a newsflash, you used the editor to format the content.
If no, just try to put the newsflash module to User 1 module position again, no suffix or setting for the JA Collapse Module!
If the problem isn’t gone, please provide me a link to your site! I’ll try to find the solution for you!
January 28, 2007 at 8:28 pm #213814Hi,
nearly there. Just a small positoning problem now for the icon. I had this with the default icon, but have also changed this. But it looks okay elsewhere on the H3 items.
Have a look here.

Site is still in development and my sysadmin has an apache password on it. If you can’t solve it from the screen shot, I’ll ask about getting you a user.
Many thanks,
Mike

January 29, 2007 at 1:43 am #213824Please try to modify the css here:
#ja-spotlight h3 {
margin: 0 0 5px;
padding: 5px 0 0 18px;
background: url(../images/bullet.gif) no-repeat 5px 12px;
}Because your new bullet image is bigger than the original Zibal’s one, so you need to change the padding left value (the red bold) of the Heading Text. I cannot see the site in real form, so here is just an example of what you need to do:
#ja-spotlight h3 {
margin: 0 0 5px;
padding: 5px 0 0 25px;
background: url(../images/bullet.gif) no-repeat 5px 12px;
}Hope it helps! If it does not, please provide a temporary user account to the site. 😉
