Hello,

I have Joomla 1.5, legacy mode is off, created a “Newsflashes” section and a “Newsflash” category. Then I created a one-line article and published and saved it under the “Newsflash” category. In the module, I chose the “Newsflashes/Newsflash” under the category dropdown menu and saved it. Now the only thing that I get on the website is: “Please select a category for JA Newsflash! “
I uninstalled the module and reinstalled it but the problem is still there.
What I am doing wrong?

My problem “was” that the newsflash module would see the section/category and after saving the changes on module the messages were being shown on the site and all I was getting (on the site) was “please choose a category…”
But the problem is now fixed. It just took a long time to be displayed!!! (over an hour!)
