I installed JA Erica quickstart and I have troubles to add my article (I created new section and category this article belongs to) to newslight. I picked this section/category in the newslight configuration – it just ignores my article. Any advise?

About image in janewslight , you can see that image still display in janewslight. if the article has image , i mage will displayed in janewslight.
I have the same problem, do not appear articles of Section / Category I created.
How do I fix this?

This was happening to me as well. I gave up for the day yesterday, and then mysteriously it worked today. Very bizarre.
Now the problem is, it only shows one article from this section. I have settings to display 4 content articles from the specified section. I have 4 articles written, but none of them show up except for the first one I wrote. I have tried to get the others to show by disabling the first article, but then nothing at all shows up.
The order of the articles doesn’t matter, and I have tried every kind of combination of things I could think of between the articles and the module itself.
Anyone else having this problem??

I run Joomla 1.5.8, if that matters.
This is the same problem I am having. Only one article shows up when I have more than one article in that category.

Well apparently if you wait a day, everything works out, lol. Randomly, it now shows 4 articles even though I did nothing to the site since yesterday. Very frustrating. Now the problem seems to be that 4 is the maximum amount of contents I can display. Is this true? If I show 2, it drops down to 2…if I go with anything higher than 4 it only displays 4.
Well, I haven’t gotten that far yet. I’ve only got two articles posted. However, I did find a thread that suggested “back dating” the article to get it to show right away. And that worked. I just changed the “Start Publishing” date to yesterday and it showed up!

Okay…that would explain why when I wait a day, the articles then magically appear. Now that’s extremely frustrating for someone that doesn’t know this. This is exactly what the problem is though. The 6 articles I just created, I went and backdated a day and now they are all showing.
