October 18, 2008 at 11:39 am #134556Hi,
I am having an issue with columns on newslight. I have the parameters set exactly as they are in the userguide and specified 2 columns, however, it appears like in the screenshot with the 2nd column having nothing in it.
Can you help?
Thanks

October 18, 2008 at 3:44 pm #276017There we go!
You’re missing a CSS template call in your TEMPLATE > INDEX.PHP file.
In other words, you’ve modified your index file but left out all of the Newslight stylings in ja-newslight.cssYou can add the following line to your index.php header (along with all the other CSS calls), but you should modify it to call the actual location of this particular css file in your TEMPLATE > CSS > folder;
<link href=”http://template.joomlart.com/ja_erica/modules/ja_newslight/ja-newslight.css” type=”text/css” rel=”stylesheet”/>
Once you get this corrected, your front page will look like the attached.
Have fun!

October 20, 2008 at 1:51 pm #276283You’ve got to have at least three content items published in Newslight before you’ll see the double column effect.
John.

October 20, 2008 at 2:24 pm #276286Hmm…I’m still showing only one content item pointing there.
If you would like you I’d be glad to take a look inside. Just PM me a temp user and pass.John.
