When the homepage loads, the JA News Featured module loads choppy and scrambled for about 2-3 seconds then it loads properly. How can I get the module to load smoothly like in the demo. It makes the site look ugly to our visitors and doesn’t load as quickly as the rest of the page. It is the module labled “Today’s Headlines”:

I understand your concern about this problem. You can fix it with my suggestion:
<blockquote>Open templates/ja_nex/html/mod_janews_featured/nex/style.css file</blockquote>
Add news script

.ja-zinfp-featured .hide {
visibility: hidden;
}
Download my attached file and copy it to this path below, override the earlier file:
<blockquote>templates/ja_nex/html/mod_janews_featured/nex/script.js</blockquote>
Remember to backup old file before in-process to do it
