February 12, 2010 at 12:24 pm #332506Nicely done Cheryl. I wouldn’t have known that was Nickel had you not said, nice customisation.
Top photo doesn’t immediately say ‘hunt’ to me … more ‘tourism’ or something? Also, the favicon is a bit ‘spidery’ … maybe chop out the fox face to increase the size a bit?
I hope your right column fills up with sponsors in double quick time!

February 12, 2010 at 12:29 pm #332507thanks for the comments. they used to have a great top photo of the same location but in spring, but our winter has been so snowy (not normal) they change it for this one. the other one was much more colorful. the site is for mounted foxhunting in Virginia and that photo will speak to foxhunters, it’s not necessarily as mjuch for general public anyway.

February 12, 2010 at 12:32 pm #332508Hi Cheryl
It was my wife that didn’t like the top photo to be honest! 🙂
She used to be British National Champion in Endurance Riding on an Arab stallion!
She suggested same kind of top photo (even one per season), but please have some horses in the shot 😀
Nice work.

February 13, 2010 at 11:10 pm #332612Very nice! Simple and clean, exactly as it should be.
Just one friendly suggestion, i would put modules in positions user6, user8 and user9 in line (horizontally) and maybe spice them up with some pics.
Anyway, it looks great! :thumbsup
🙂

February 20, 2010 at 3:04 pm #333231I just visited cheryl site and i must say that i am pretty impressed by the site design keep it up the hard work cheryl.
March 16, 2010 at 12:56 pm #336426a traditional, yet modern layout for the website. Easy to navigate and very classy! nice work 🙂
I agree with a previous poster that the header image doesn’t scream ‘hunting’ but it does certainly make you want to go there and the images rotating below definitley say hunting!
Great customisation
