I just installed the quikstart for labra, then after deleting the installation directory, i chose to go to site instead of administrater interface, but when i am on the site, i see NO administer portal for admin purposes.

I can login using the admin password, i can even edit the config.php to have the site offline, then login as admin, but when viewing the page, there is no “administrater” menu item anywhere…

    What am i missing here?

are you login into the frontend expecting admin menu

    or are you going to
    http://www.yourdomainname.com/administrator

    it works just like joomla

    Okay, that works fine!
But i was looking for the link on the front page for “administraor” to access the admin interface. most of the ja templates i have used have had this on the front page.

    Thanks for your responses!

    It’s just a link on a menu.
Just go to any menu -> New -> External Link -> Name it “Administrator” and set the link as shown above.
