article title is missing despite setting the title to show on both article manager options and edit article options.
what can i do?
also the layout for the rating is now good, what could be the problem?

Kindly take backup of site and update template and T3 plugin to latest version .

This can be an issue due to wrong customisations , I suggest you remove the custom work from /html/com_content folder that generates the menu output of content(articles,category blog layout etc) .
Or you can try it on your localhost first and then replace it on the live site .
