My web server recently ungraded my Droid 1.5 site to 2.5 and we are testing it on a yet unpublished demo site.
But I lost the bottom.navhelper block. I can assign breadcrumbs to other module positions but I can not find the
block they should be in on the Demo. I actually would like to move them up below the navigation, but if I
can’t find the bottom.navhelper, I can’t move it.Also in 1.5 the POPULAR PAGES that I assigned to User 2 did not have any bullets in the list. But after the 2.5 upgrade there are bullets there when the demo shows stars. Where do I edit this?
I am sorry but I am very new to 2.5 and I am confused about how to get what I want for my site?
July 23, 2012 at 4:56 am #461840I know I am not saying this right. The block where the breadcrumbs should be is there with the word TOP. The component is enabled.
But when I go to Extensions>Module Manager> Breadcrumbs and select the Position Breadcrumbs, they wont show. I have looked through the forum for this but do not see any answer. I can put them in the various User positions and Right, but not where they show in the demo.Sherlock FriendSherlock

July 23, 2012 at 8:48 am #461884Hi jcrock,
I took a look at your back-end and did not see the mentioned problem, the module of “Breadcrumbs” is there at the breadcrumbs position, also if you go to edit the default layout in the template back-end you would see the navhelper block tag is there
<block name=”navhelper” type=”navhelper”></block>
Could you please let me know more details if you think the problem still there.July 23, 2012 at 4:11 pm #461935Thank you for replying. I know that I am having difficulty explaining this. Can you SEE the breadcrumbs listed at the bottom on the live site? I can not. I found the navhelper in the default template and I have assigned the module Breadcrumbs to the Breadcrumbs position but the crumbs to not show – only the word “TOP”. I do have them working on my old Joomla 1.5 site. Could something have gone wrong when we made the move to 2.5? Old site is http://www.westernwynds.us

July 24, 2012 at 3:54 am #461988Okay jcrock,
I see the problem there, the module should be assigned to the position of breadcrumb not breadcrumbs as current, you can see now it’s displaying 🙂
