Hi all,

I have installed the quickstart version of JA Quillaja for Joomla! 1.5 and have a problem with the setup of the site width:
It is not possible to switch to widescreen resolution modus in the member area and it is also not possible to change in the template parameters configuration.
(The Parameter-File /templates/jaquillaja/params.ini is Writable.)

The user guide says the site width can be setup in the index.php, but the index.php of Quillaja does not offer this possibility (like Rochea does).

What is going wrong?
Please help.

You can do it in the admin panel of joomla, Extensions>Template Manager>JA Quillaja, there you have options to adjust and change the paramemters

Many thanks Menalto for your replay.
I know that this is the normal way to cinfigurate some template features but it does not work with quillaja and Joomla 1.5 – at leat not at my installation (and I installed it for 4 times in the meanwhile).

Maybe i missunderstanded you, you want the fluid width of this template? From what i know Ja-Quillaja does not support it, but if you are in the need of having it fluid on a permanent basis you can change it in the template_css.css on line 941:

.wide #ja-header, .wide #ja-topsl, .wide #ja-botsl, .wide #ja-mainnavwrap2, .wide #ja-mainnav-inner, .wide #ja-mnshadow, .wide #ja-subnav, .wide #ja-slwrap, .wide #ja-containerwrap, .wide #ja-containerwrap-c1, .wide #ja-containerwrap-c2, .wide #ja-containerwrap-f, .wide #ja-footer, .wide #ja-hp {
margin:0 auto;
text-align:left;
width:950px;
}

No, I do not want the fluid width, I want the 1024-pixel version.

Hi Menalto,

many thanks for the advise, you are right, sorry for confusion!
I realised the following:
The set up in the admin panel works absolutely correct, but my changes have not been seen in the browser.
When I started my page at another PC the wide screen version was displayed correctly.
That means to me that this is a problem of the browser cache. When I cleared my browser (Firefox) totally the display of wide screen was correct.
My solution:
I switch off the tool so that no user has the chance to change anything.
