I need to create a page/article that has no columns, but just the header info such as the page located in the JA social demo at http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_social/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=47:do-you-connect-to-facebook-every-day&catid=34:demo-category
What I will be doing is using a Wrapper to show content that is outside of the Joomla system like an iframe. The content is too wide to use the regular template with columns, but I am guessing this can be done since I see it in the demo, but for the life of me I can not figure out how to do so.

Module position references::

I looked at the links you sent me, but still not sure how to make the change for specific articles. I think I understood that I am to create a layout with no module positions, then apply that layout to the specific page. BUT, how do you do that?

I assume that you dont need to make any such profile change through template parameters. It can be done mainly through module manager in admin where you dont assign modules to left and right positions for specific menu item
Module assignment guide::http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_assign_a_module_to_specific_pages%3F
March 8, 2011 at 6:45 pm #380364I guess I am getting there. I have removed all modules from that menu item, but it still does not look like the page from the demo. The page is still the same width so the iframe is still too narrow and not showing the whole page in the iframe/wrapper.
And would I have to do this for every page that I need this for one at a time?

If you are done with suggestions outlined, You will tend to get content placed as seen in demo page also. Sorry, but the demo page also isnt showing the content in iframe but the content is being seen in com_content area (main body area)

Yes, You would need to do this for all pages respectively where you want this desired result as it seems -
