    When logged into the site as a publisher, i can select articles to modify but no editor toolbars appear.

    I have tried the default and JCE editor and i get a java error stating that the jce functions is undefined.

    I am using Joomla 1.x in IE 7.

    The same problem here, no JCE no Tiny. Using FireFox. Any fix, pls?

    Yet to say: in administration everythink is working, editors running.

    In frontend – no toolbars appears, in IE gives javascript error on line 58.

    Probably some conflict with javascript declarations? Any idea? Thanks for any help.

    Ok, still troublshooting … Found out that if I installed a different template on the site, JA Nerine, the editor appeared fine. Went back to JA Corona and it was not functioning. Must be a javascript conflict in there.

    Neither Tiny MCE or JCE work at this point. I hope the moderator weighs in on this soon. They will porbably have a fix.

    Oh, I’m using Firefox and IE7 to no avail. The site is on Joomla 1.0.14.

    Make sure that the www is in front of your domain. That should solve it.

    Unfortunately not working. I tested it on two domains. One was subdomain http://nevis.petrasek.info and second for few moments on http://www.petrasek.info not working at all.

    Is here someone for who is editor in frontend working correctly?

    I was logined in as a publisher. And the editor is run very good. I’m using J1.0.14. Maybe you should try and update your joomla version.

    I placed the following code before the <head> tag in the index.php file located in the template directory.

    <?
    if ( $my->id ) {
    initEditor();
    }
    ?>

    Good luck!

    cyrber971:

    I am assuming that you have an editor installed and that it works on the front end?

    If so, have you tried to edit files with both www. yourdomain.com/administrator and yourdomain.com/administrator (without www in the URL)?
