When logged into the site as a publisher, i can select articles to modify but no editor toolbars appear.
I have tried the default and JCE editor and i get a java error stating that the jce functions is undefined.
I am using Joomla 1.x in IE 7.
March 25, 2008 at 10:12 am #243139The same problem here, no JCE no Tiny. Using FireFox. Any fix, pls?
March 25, 2008 at 10:24 am #243140Yet to say: in administration everythink is working, editors running.
In frontend – no toolbars appears, in IE gives javascript error on line 58.
Probably some conflict with javascript declarations? Any idea? Thanks for any help.
March 27, 2008 at 11:22 am #243342Revival of this problem, still not solved, tryied version of template 1.0 and also 1.2. No way. Pls help! Thanks for any replay.
March 30, 2008 at 9:33 pm #243668I am having the same problerm in JA Corona — even in the backend.
Any ideas?
March 30, 2008 at 9:56 pm #243672Ok, still troublshooting … Found out that if I installed a different template on the site, JA Nerine, the editor appeared fine. Went back to JA Corona and it was not functioning. Must be a javascript conflict in there.
Neither Tiny MCE or JCE work at this point. I hope the moderator weighs in on this soon. They will porbably have a fix.
March 30, 2008 at 9:57 pm #243674Oh, I’m using Firefox and IE7 to no avail. The site is on Joomla 1.0.14.

March 31, 2008 at 2:38 pm #243758Make sure that the www is in front of your domain. That should solve it.

I am assuming that you have an editor installed and that it works on the front end?
If so, have you tried to edit files with both www. yourdomain.com/administrator and yourdomain.com/administrator (without www in the URL)?
