Hi there

I’ve just downloaded and installed your component this morning and have run into a couple of road blocks.
FYI I’m running Joomla 3.6.2. and the page that has the MegaFilter is http://knaer.uwo.ca/topic-tag-search

When ever I try to ‘Save and Close’ or ‘Index/Index All’, I get the ‘The connection was reset’ error.
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. I’m not getting this error with any other components.

When I go back to the component, my changes have saved and I can close the component without getting the error. I don’t know if it is indexing or not. On the front-end, there is no sidebar with the filters showing – just the ‘Sort By’ panels in the main content.

Do you have any advice?

Hi,

It seems that JA Megafilter for Joomla content Custom Fields only works on Joomla 3.7.3 and above, cause it requires Joomla Custom Fields to filter.

I don’t want to search by custom fields but by tags. You don’t seem to be able to search by groups of different nested tags. I emailed before I purchased to ask if it would sort using 3 dropdowns:
Topic tags: Math, Well-Being, Equity
Grade tags: K-3, 4-6, 7-9,10-12
Type tags: article, lesson plan, presentation

So that you could get a result that was narrowed down to: a grade 3, math, lesson plan. All items that had all three selected tags (grade 3 ‘and’ math ‘and’ lesson plan) I need an ‘and’ condition – not an ‘or’ condition.

It looks like this is not possible.

Yes, It seems that JA MegaFilter doesn’t have support for filtering follow ‘AND’ Condition.
