Ok I’ve been at this past 3 days. Joomla 1.5.4 (latest) installed in two different occasions rcgallery 2 FROM rcgallery2 beta 2 (latest) – did not work correctly with ja_avian II and after already having modified css and html heavily i didn’t want to bother with even more making my money spent on nothing. So I installed from the quickstart, language file missing, fixed that
    Question now.
Frontpage slideshow works ok. ja_semantic behaves ok until one clicks on Gallery – displays all the galleries WITHOUT THUMBNAIL no matter how many times I assign thumbnail in the gallery edit but that is no biggie I will fix it eventually
IF ONE CLICKS ON THE SLIDESHOW – it works if CLICKS ON GALLERY NAME it displays 0 images as in “no images in gallery” when I HAVE IMAGES IN THE GALLERY
http://www.artsgents.net PLEASE VIEW IT WITH FIREFOX my CSS isnt ready for IE6 or IE7 (modified the ja_avian one)

    One of two things happening:

As careful as you may have been in putting your images in the correct folder…the error code above your gallery is hinting that you may have made a mistake. OR…the template settings are looking for the images in a bad address.

For instance, the first line of the error code I’m seeing above your gallery is:

    Warning: getimagesize(/home/halostro/public_html/artsgents.net/images/rsgallery/display/PICT0035_resize.jpg

What this means, in VERY basic terms, is that Joomla is looking for an image called “PICT0035_resize.jpg” on your server.

I’ve tried every combination of the above path and cannot find that image…

    http://artsgents.net/images/rsgallery/display/PICT0035_resize.jpg
    etc.

So I’m thinking the file is either NOT there…or it’s NOT in a directory with a path: /home/halostro/public_html/artsgents.net/images/rsgallery/display

My guess is that the image folder path in your RCGallery is not set correctly.

    Good luck with your search.
    John.
