If I try to use the SEO settings in the Joomla! configuration while the template cache is active, I get wrong images path (the second time I visit the page) so I get a 404 error.
The generated path for example is
    http://localhost/mysite/shop/images/stories/negozio/marchi/nikon.png

    instead of:
    http://localhost/mysite/images/stories/negozio/marchi/nikon.png

And “Shop” is the name of the menu item of the actual page.

I use the Joomla! default .htaccess.

Please ensure if you have configured sef urls properly::

    http://docs.joomla.org/SEF_URLs_in_Joomla!_1.5

Also, Try updating in Path to Image Folder to images in global configuration

The other SEF urls are OK, but images gets the menuitem prefix in the path if T3 cache is active (if I use the Joomla! cache instead of T3 cache works fine).

Yes I too had this exact same problem, when SEF URLs are used on my Teline IV template when I turn off development mode and turn on the Teline IV template cache. By the way, I also use Apache mod_rewrite and I add suffix to URLs. Previously, these URL settings were all being used in a previous template before I switched to Teline IV, and I never experienced this same problem before using the Teline IV template.

This problem even occurs when you switch on SEF URLs in the Teline IV “demo builder.” Like the previous poster, without activating the Joomla cache plugin (and only using the Teline IV) template cache, every time I refresh any page other than the homepage all the thumbnailed images disappear – just as if the image was still “linked” but no longer existed. This only happens with images that are thumbnailed, banner ads for instance, still remain.

Moreover, after refreshing any page other than the homepage, the “home” link generated by the logo in the upper left-hand corner of the page gets messed up as well because a new menu path is added to the existing link. For instance, if the logo normally links to http://www.mysite.com/index.php and I hit refresh while looking at an article under the menu item “news” the thumbnailed images are lost and the logo now links to http://www.mysite.com/news/index.php (which of course doesn’t exist).

It’s one of those little things that I’d like to find an answer to, but in the meantime I just activate the core Joomla cache plugin too just to get me by for the time being.

    Any thoughts?
