I would like to trust you. But,

    Is that so strange?
I use JA quickstart to install again to test, and install the new version of Ja_typo plugin,it dones’t wrok.
Is there something tricks that I should adjust?:((

Under the same circumstance,I use tinymce, the ja_typo button appears.Does JA_typo for j1.7 provide the high availability for the users who install it?

AFTER installing the QS are you updating ALL joomlart files and turning off caching? You need to do those things in order to be able to figure out what is causing what. I”m suspecting your not using JAE to update all the JA software.

As far as trusting me, well, I provided a screen shot to reassure you so idk what else I can / should do.

Can you please tell me how to make ja_ironis j1.7 quickstart(download from http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20419) to show ja_typo button under JCE editor 2.0.15?
I try hard to make ja_typo button to appear, but in vain.
(I have used JAE to update all files already.)

Do you download the Ja_ironis qs to test again too?The same step I install Ja_erio qs for j1.7,it works fine.I suspect what is something wrong about ja_ironis 1.7.

Any detail steps?I go crazy for the disappear of ja_typo button for JCE editor.
    thanks.

    Freak ironis,I think.

As your steps, the ja_typo button shows after I try several times.
The same steps I have tried at another ja templates,it works at one time.

The freak ironis makes me go crazy again and again.

you sure you don’t have caching or some other program installed? just for fun if you want do clean install of QS, then turn off optimization and caching.. change nothing else..
go do your updates, install jce and viola 😀
then try to see what makes it break 😀

These kinds of issues are almost impossible to “fix” cause they won’t stay broken long enough

I install the ironis qs cleanly, and no install other programs surely.
I try several times at the same steps you mentioned before. That’s why I tell you ironis is freak.

I can’t understand what’s wrong with ironis except other ja templates of j1.7.No kidding,I am seriously.

is that even after updating to latest via JAE shane?

@eruzak weird thing is I did it with ironis like you asked… I don’t know how to get it fixed if we can’t replicate.

If it can be,I would like you can replicate this issue in person.
Actually,I try hard to solve it for several times. The ja_typo button can’t show easily.

I upgrade the T3 framework and ja_typo plugin manually.but,it doesn’t work unless it work via JAE.
After all, thank for your kindly reply.

why are you updating manually? The files on the site and the files in svn ( our updater ) are not always in sync. The ones in JAE ARE the latest.

    Hi,
just to confirm as well. I have the same problem.
and I effectively switch between Tinyeditor and JCE to overcome the problem.
(then when I come back to JCE, the effect doesn’t appear in the editing window; however, the hmtl tag is preserved and can be accessed/modified/included via the hmtl editor of JCE).
I agree, it would be more confortable to be able to get the JA Typo button in the JCE interface.

    Best,
    yves

if you update your JA software AND JCE it will work just fine. If you have no-number framework that should be updated also.

    Hi,
    thanks for your replay.
    I updated
    – JCE to 2.0.15 instead of 2.014;
    – JA Typo to 1.1.2 instead of 1.1.0
    – JA T3 Framework plugin to 1.4.0
so they are all at the latest version, but it is still the same problem. the Typo button is not displaying (and the plugin is enabled).

May be I don’t understand well when you say “no-number” framework (what should I check exactly about the “no-number”?)

Remark: I did all the update of those via the “extension manager” and not via the “ja-ext-manager” (I don’t know if this has an importance or not; however, all the version numbers have been automatically updated in the ja-ext-manager).

    Best Regards
    yves
