I agree … in the demo template it says
“Hi my name is ja iris You will have Quickstart to setup a site exactly like this one. I have both Joomla 1.1.x and Joomla 1.5 version.”

While I can live without the quickstart I would appreciate a 1.5 template to learn about the 1.5 template features. This is why I don’t mind the template being simple. But by now the 1.5 version is only a promise and I hope that it will be added.

Hmmm, I’ll second that. I could totally accept the decision to withold full conversions and installation tutorials for 1.5 until after the offical release, but if that’s the call – please change your marketing approach. It feels a little shady and deceptive. I was quite excited by the template, it looks beautiful – but I share bluecafe’s disappointment.

Ah, that’s great, thanks Hung. Will there be some installation walk throughs as well? I’ve been away from Joomla for a while waiting for 1.5, and tried installing Larix in 1.5 and wasn’t very successful. Heck, just finding out how to create new module positions took a lot of googlin’ and forum searches.

Iris Quickstart J! 1.5RC3

When you select and delete a component ALL COMPONENTS ARE DELETED!!!

It does’nt happen in a fresh Joomla 1.5RC3 instalation.
