I’ve downloaded Vauxite and registered it with Joomlart.com etc and installed the template on my server and I’ve configured it successfully except for one little bit left to do, install the Favicon logo which I’ve set up and want to install into the appropriate template folder (vauxite) of my site but the permissions will not allow me to do so. Futhermore it appears as though I can’t change my permissions to enable me to upload it – the favicon.
I’d appreciate a response to this question asap.

What ‘permission error(s)’ you receive? You may need to contact your host to get these permission errors fixed.

Hi Miccas, Thanks for getting back to me.
When I use the FTP client within control panel I see the permissions are defaulting to 644. So I try to change the permissions there to 777 temporarily to enable me to upload new files. I get the following error message:
FileOp Failure on: /home/mydomain/public_html/templates/ja_vauxite/favicon.ico: Operation not permitted
When I use an FTP client like Filezilla or FTP Commander the following error message is returned.
< 553 Rename/move failure: Permission denied
Error 553 Rename/move failure: Permission denied
In the meantime, I’ll contact my host.
