“We are sorry that non-profit domains are no longer offered on JoomlArt. For the templates you already used for non-profit organizations, they are still effective under your membership on JoomlArt. However, you are not allowed to add new non-profit domains.”
How exactly did this happen. I had plans and have been working on a couple no-profit sites. That was actually the main reason I joined JommlArt. I am just slow in finalizing the sites. But how come this was promised when we joined and changed with no notice. Should there not at lease have been a warning, say 2 – 4 months, or more, before the decision was implemented. It would at least have been nice for those of us who were planning to use that, but now are not able.

It is understandable that companies change policies at times, things change, not everythings we do is right forever, but it is still important to give people some warning before changing things that were promised. Another idea, if this has to change would be to limit the non-profit sites the same way commercial sites are limited, a certain amount a year. It is at least better than none, and in this way, joomlart could be helping countless charities and non profit organizations have better wibsites, and a better web presence. Is that not a good goal for JoomlArt after all?

I been trying to get a decent response from Joomlart for weeks now.
They dont seem to care……………………………
Got e-mails and other stuff where they promised me that i would have free non-profit domains if i would join joomlart. Joined joomlart and then……………. no more free non-profit domains……………..
Feels like joomlart only wants to lure people in to join and then………………..
