There’s no slideshow position in dropdown module manager.

How can I place slideshow2 module in template then?

Please help.

You are looking for the position name, right? If it isn‘t there, you can always try writing the position name right into the dropdown list.

or you can define that position in the xml file, please read entry http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_add_a_new_template_position%3F
