June 3, 2014 at 6:29 pm #198458In the back end, my mega menu looks different from the video tutorial. What’s missing is the option to control submenu width. I have looked and looked, and it’s just not there. I can add a submenu and divide it into colums in the item paramaters. But I can’t control how wide the sub menu is. I seem to be stuck with the default width of about 200px. Is there something wrong with my installation or am I just missing something? It’s great to be able to hook up a module but sometimes it’s going to be a wide module, exceeding the default submenu width. I see there is an option to create an extra class; but this isn’t even mentioned in the obsolete documentation I have read. It looks so easy in the video but a lot of those controls are no longer in the latest version of megamenu.
Do I now have to go to the menu item paramaters to do what I used to be able to do right in the megamenu config? That is, set submenu width.
How do you add a module and make the submenu bigger to accomodate it?
Thanks to anybody who has the answer.Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

June 4, 2014 at 3:43 am #537680You can try to add specific width (in px) for module in sub menu: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/754/3990310822.png

June 16, 2014 at 7:26 pm #539107I must be missing something. My megamenu screen looks nothing like your illustration. There is no submenu configuration option that I can find. Is it somewhere other than the megamenu configuration? As far as submenu, the only paramaters at my disposal are adding columns. There is no way to control module width. Please see attached illustration.
Thanks,
-Jim G.
