HI,
Maybe I’m overlooking something but I can’t make any template configurations.
In the index.php file of template JA Iris (newest version). That whole part is missing.

I’m using Joomla 1.5. An older version of template (for Joomla1.0) I use is OK.

Why are you using template for J 1.0.x, when there is template for J 1.5.x?!

I use Ja Iris 1.2 for Joomla 1.5.
The older template I use on another website. That index.php file is OK. That’s what i meant.

The part that begins with: BEGIN: TEMPLATE CONFIGURATIONS #########……
is missing in the JA Iris 1.2. I want to get rid of user tools in the right upper corner. Any ideas?

Uninstall the template, go to Help->System Info->Directory Permissions make sure all are writable.
Install the template again. If some parts are still missing perhaps you can open zipped template on you PC, and just upload it to your server?

If I look at the index.php of JA Iris 1.2 on my computer that part is also missing. So uploading it via FTP will not help.

Hi
In Joomla 1.5, you can config template in admin. Plz go to Extensions-> Templates Manager, choose Ja Iris to edit, you will see some paramaters to config as you want
