    Hi

I’m currently working on a zeolite site and have coloured the entire background.

However, this is causing problems with the ’round corners’ as the background colour does not show through:

So, I downloaded the images, opened in Photoshop and created new .png files whereby the bits that were currently opaque and preventing the background from abutting the round corners was transparent:

However, when I upload these to the server, the transparency is ignored and we have the same result:

I’m reluctant to colour the ‘transparent’ pixels the same as the site background colour in case the client changes background colour at a future date, so I would rather have transparency.

Question: how to maintain transparency with modified graphics in Zeolite template?

    Many thanks
    Chris

    Dear questbg!

I saw you created the transparency image done,
I think that here has two case happen:

    1) while saving image, you could not choose background be “none”
    2) You forgot clear browser cache while testing

    Please try to check again

    Hi tienhc

It was neither of those options.

I resaved all files as .gif format and the transparency is OK.

The .png files have transparency when I open in Photoshop, but still won’t work when I try them on the Zeolite site?

    Many Thanks

    Dear Chris!

I am sorry for not being of much help in this case.
