April 6, 2013 at 9:47 pm #186525Ok, so I have started to explore the Virtuemart world 🙂
Following the Userguide I’m trying to place the VM-featured product on my site. Problem is that the position VM-product doesn’t exist. It’s not on the list of positions I can choose from.Anyone have any idea why?
I guess somewhere I’ve done something wrong, but I don’t know what…

April 7, 2013 at 7:20 am #489054Hi
From your Template Manager –> JA_Vintas – Default –>Layouts Tab –> edit the Default layout and check if the bottom block is in this way
<blocks name="bottom" style="xhtml">
<block name="botsl">vm-product</block>
<block name="botsl1" type="spotlight" main-inner="1">user1, user2, user3</block>
<block name="botsl2" type="spotlight" main-inner="1">banner</block>
<block name="navhelper" type="navhelper" main-inner="1"></block>
<block name="botsl3" type="spotlight" main-inner="1">user4,user5,user6,user7</block>
<block name="botsl4" main-inner="1">twitter</block>
<block name="footer" type="footer" main-inner="1"></block>
</blocks>1 user says Thank You to pavit for this useful post

April 7, 2013 at 7:35 am #489056This is what it says:
mass-bottom</block>
</blocks>
<blocks name=”bottom” style=”xhtml”>
<block name=”botsl”>vm-product</block>
<block name=”botsl1″ type=”spotlight” main-inner=”1″>user1, user2, user3</block>
<block name=”botsl2″ type=”spotlight” main-inner=”1″>banner</block>
<block name=”navhelper” type=”navhelper” main-inner=”1″></block>
<block name=”botsl3″ type=”spotlight” main-inner=”1″>user4,user5,user6,user7</block>
<block name=”botsl4″ main-inner=”1″>twitter</block>
<block name=”footer” type=”footer” main-inner=”1″></block>
</blocks>It looks like everything is ok right? I haven’t changed anything.
Something else must be wrong.pavit Moderatorpavit

April 7, 2013 at 11:33 am #489068Thank you so much! It worked perfect!
I got it placed at the right place on my site.But it doesn’t have the header saying VM-featured products over. The one that is red on the user guide. Any tips on where I can put it in? I do have the html code for it…:)
