Just trying out Job Board for the first time on a test server. I have it installed no problem and am looking forward to implementing it. A couple of general questions:

1) with J! 1.6 stable being released soon I am wondering if I should wait on implementing Job Board if it will be 1.6 compatible in the near future?

2) I have been reading the forum here and read some of the original posts from HD mentioning Freelance options. How would I setup Job Board to accommodate freelance / reverse auction jobs? (Does anyone have an example of their site doing similar?)

Hi Paul,

I can answer your first question for sure. Yes, we would be releasing JobBoard version soon after J 1.6 stable version is announced. Needless to worry about the same. However, to decide between which one to settle down for now, would be very difficult to say, as J 1.6 will still take 5-6 months to settle down and for other extensions and templates to be made available. However, we would be providing with the steps to upgrade to J 1.6 for our components, so future upgrades should not be a problem.

For the second question, i shall ask the JobBoard dev to reply.
