December 14, 2009 at 11:21 pm #146835I have JA Newsflash set to show:
section: demo section
category: news flashThe 3 articles in this section/category that came pre-installed with the template show fine. But, if I create a 4th with exactly the same settings, the 4th one won’t show up.
How do I show more than the 3 that came with the template??

December 15, 2009 at 7:19 am #326610Hi charliemon
I have tried to check your issue in our demo site but this module is already working fine
Could you give me your live url?

December 15, 2009 at 2:44 pm #326664Thanks for the reply. If I remember right, your demo has only 2 or 3 slides…but our build is here:
http://coastsidehosting.com/absolute/
I can email/IM you the admin login if you’d like.
Again, in case I wasn’t clear, the original items in that module work fine — but if I add more, they don’t show up.

December 17, 2009 at 3:46 am #326775Hi charliemon
I have checked your website and saw that there are two articles which are loading and this module is working fine. Could you give me your admin account via PM so that i could have a closer look on the issue?

December 17, 2009 at 4:05 pm #326837Right…the ones that came with the demo are fine — we’re trying to add NEW ones. I’ll PM you the login.

December 17, 2009 at 7:23 pm #326872Hmmm…we’re having a related problem. In IE (versions 6, 7 and 8) we’ve got bad font size problems — every time a page is reloaded, the font either disappears, grows larger, or displays correctly, seemlingly randomly. However, if I disable the JA Newsflash module, these problems go away. Something is wonky here…

December 17, 2009 at 11:12 pm #326879Hi again – you can ignore the comment about the IE problem. It was caused by a combination of cache and improper HTML in the article. Sorry…but, we still can’t seem to get more than 4 articles to display, so I’d like to get that fixed.

December 23, 2009 at 4:03 pm #327320Well, sorry, I thought we were done, but we’re not. The “show title” setting for each article in the slideshow is set to “no”, but the titles are still showing on all our slideshow articles. I have cleared cache, tested this on 3 different browsers, and it’s still showing. I have also verified in the database row for each article that the “show_title” is set to zero. How do we remove the article titles for this slideshow?

December 23, 2009 at 4:18 pm #327324My fault — didn’t see the place to do this in the module definitions. I got it fixed. My fault. Sorry…
