I joined Joomlart some time ago, because of their very nice templates. At first, I was very pleased and recommended this site to my friends. I’ve spent a few hundred to extend the subscription. Since then, I’ve been disappointed in the quality of the templates. They look pretty, but are very buggy.

Support is non-existent. I’ve been waiting for support on one template for about a month; I’ve been waiting for a fix on another for at least 3 weeks. It’s very difficult to get any acknowledgment of the e-mail’s and forum posts. They keep a very pleasant tone and promise quick service; I’ve not seen it.

JA Koniga won’t work on the current release of Joomla 1.5, although it was promised a month ago. JA Regulus doesn’t work correctly on IE with the slideshow.

I’ve used a couple of other templates, but it’s hit-and-miss. I’ll try to go and look at the code, but PHP/CSS isn’t my strong suit. I’m feeling like I may have wasted my money.

I’ll hang around for a little while more, in the wild-eyed hope that they will finally improve their service. If not, I’ll feel pretty ripped off…

My recommendation is that if you see a template you like, spend the least amount of money to get the template (license that template only). If it works for you, then consider the full subscription. I wouldn’t commit money until we see if their support finally wakes up.

    Hi There,

Can you please post your ticket number so we can check it out. Thanks.

As you might notice, we’re currently doing a lot of changes in regards to support on our system, and we’re refining a lot of the rules and terms that we abide by when we support you. You’ll continue to see the support raise in both quality and timing 🙂

Hi, the support has been through two avenues: PM’s to Hungh Dinh; and forums in JA Koniga and JA Regulus. I never have gotten any specific ticket numbers, nor have I been offered any.
