I have tried to change the font and it works well. Maybe you have forgotten to clean the cache or tick to “Custom CSS” check box when changing the font:

We have predefined a font for Main menu so that when we change the menu font, it doesn’t effect. Please change this code:

.ja-megamenu ul.level0 li.mega {
font-family: ‘BebasNeueRegular’,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
margin-right: 15px;
}

remove: font-family: ‘BebasNeueRegular’,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;

in file templates/ja_methys/css/menu/mega.css. It will work well.

it did not help, unfortunately. Fonts are still different in Russian and English. And the Russian font is not changed, except for size.
