Is it possible to have the bells and whistles of lyrix but rather than using the product slide and feature product module to highlight articles rather than products to sell?

The reason why I am asking is because I am getting this error:

Warning: JA_VMSlider::require_once(/home/hwviews/public_html/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.cfg.php) [function.JA-VMSlider-require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/hwviews/public_html/modules/mod_ja_vmproductslide/application.php on line 35

Fatal error: JA_VMSlider::require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/hwviews/public_html/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.cfg.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/hwviews/public_html/modules/mod_ja_vmproductslide/application.php on line 35

I assume because I am not wanting to sell something but rather use the modules to showcase product reviews.

ok – found this:

VIRTUEMART component and modules

To begin install Virtuemart, you have to add these module position to your template positions: vm-fp, your-cart
In administrator area, on top menu go to: Installers -> Component
Browse to VirtueMart component and click Upload and Install
Install these modules: mod_product_categories, mod_ja_vmproductslide, mod_virtuemart_featureprod, mod_virtuemart_cart.
Extract these file and copy all of files & folder into your Joomla directory (keep file & folder structure).
In Joomla administrator area top menu, click Component->VirtueMart

Where do i find these files? they are not in the quickstart or the template files or anything.

so is it possible to use this template with virtuemart without actually selling things but getting the same look as the demo?

So rather than linking to products to sell, having the images link to articles?

Are you thinking of the slider module or the template in general?
