I have checked out the JA Obelisk template demo on our Android mobile and the Films of the Week section still appears. However, by default the Search box will be hidden on mobile view (max-width: 767px), that is why you can not see it.

The header background color of JA Obelisk template is as black as the color of logo image that it is why the logo seems to look invisible. You just need to change the logo image on mobile view to another color (i.e white), so it can be visible clearly.</blockquote>

I can’t view the mobile demo on my device. I automatically forwards to Appolio and the web version still has the mobile icons grayed out.

Leo Burnetts, The problem is with the Icons in the JA Demo toolbar at the top. In both Obelisk and Appolio they are greyed out. While the mobile versions are working if you view the site on a mobile device, you cannot use the JA toolbar to preview the mobile layouts. All is fine with template prior to Obelisk.

    Hey guys,

Thank you for that feedback. Yes, that is an error of our demo toolbar on 2 recent templates. Lets me ask our admin to check and correct it.

Yes, the demo link for Obelisk is still forwarding to Appolio.

    Thanks for fixing this issue!

However, the mobile preview for Obelisk still doesn’t show the Films of the Week and Find a Movie section at the top. Is this something that can be turned on? Currently, it only starts at Latest Articles.

Also, when scrolling on the mobile view, you lose the header with the website name and search, login, etc. Muzic has the header displayed always when scrolling. Is this possible with Obelisk? It would be nice to have everything on one line in the header.

    Hi,

The Films of the Week (JA Slideshow module) and Find a Movie (Filter module) have the big-styled override layouts that will not display well on mobile as on desktop view. That is why our template devs hide them on mobile view.

Truly, it is recommended to not enable these 2 modules of JA Obelisk on mobile view because its size can break the responsive mobile layout.

The same reason for hiding search and login module is as we did with 2 above modules. You can imagine that it will not be a good idea to show all of these modules and social icons on the mobile header size 320×85 pixel.

For the website name, you can make it visible by displaying the logo image with white text, so that the site name can be visible on mobile.
