I wanted to query a rookie.

I have installed Joomla template JA Rasit 1.7. When I change anything from the home page (top bar, Slideshow, etc.). In my Firefox browser (version 9.0.1) does not show the update, or even deleting the cache, or by closing and opening Firefox.

However, if I modify the template to the Cpanel option I do see the updated page.

Can you tell me why that is?

Can you tell me what I do to change the template to Dark Purple?
The program does not allow me to do.

You clean the JaT3 cache ? From Site–> Manteinance –>Clear cache

To better assist pavit in helping you, can you provide the url of the site you’re working on – as well as set “Optimize CSS” to “No” within your Template Manager–General Settings? It would also be helpful if you could provide pavit with temporary access to your site administration – so he can advise you as to your “color theme” questions and other issues.

Hi

As you can see here your site is showed correctly

I have also changed the theme from Extensions — Template Manager — Ja_Rasite — the panel down left Page Assignments

You will see All Page dark_purple if you want change you must click on dark_purple and all the themes will be showed to let yoo choose the new one click on apply and save

Thanks, I understand that the template is changed in Page Assignments, Profiles. It is well, right?

I have many more questions, but go by slowly.
The first has to do with the template to a 1.5 in my web http://www.altadefinicionhd.com. Why are only shown to subscribers RSS articles published in the left module on my page (HIGH DEFINITION: Specialists in Blu-ray and HDTV)
I want the RSS are displayed with all the articles I write and not just those.

Another question for the template 1.7. How I can export the text and section of my Web 1.5 to the new 1.7?
I tried to upgrade my web 15. 1.7 and after installing the template Rasit (version 1.7) all showed messy web, without the module (even when enabled) and the items were completely disordered.
Does that mean I have to make my site from 0?

Hi

For the first problem http://www.altadefinicionhd.com it needs to be verified on the backend the configuration of the module i cannot suggest any solution if i can’t check better

The second question regards the com_content table of your db that is the table where all your articles are stored in the Joomla 1.5 site

The Joomla 1.7 has a different version of that table so articles are organized in a different way so the simple export and import don’t works

If you are not familiar with mysql i can suggest to start again from scratch with the old copy and past

Why not see the pictures and also reduced and appears below shows “1 of 4 NEXT PREV”?

add this line float: right;

so it will become like this

How to display the feed of all articles written and not just the main module. (Joomla 1.5.25).

I would like the text on the front page also will be displayed on the right side.
