Has anyone ever used and installed this particular PHP Accelerator on a server?

It is a typical free script, so I do not know if to just install it but with no use.

Also, when anyone has done so, did any errors come up on the sites, if Joomla or not? Have their been rather downtakes in the performance or just positive effects? Last but not least, are there any issues that one must take care of that are probably not mentioned in the docs for the script…

If your running PHP 5.2 or above you already have an accelerator built in.

is this product useful for something?</blockquote>That depends. If you are running an old version of PHP and have poorly constructed PHP then yes. If you have well written PHP then no, not much.

The particular accelerator above would not be regarded as one of the better ones but TBH there is not much difference.
