Oh no, please.
This is one feature I hate. I don’t find that useful at all.
I find it confusing and I’m sure that most of users feel the same.
I’m convinced that simplicity is the best.I more and more like this template.
Easyblog is well implemented.
A kunena theme would be nice too.
Nice effect on “Click to see more…”
I don’t like comments on black background in videos (and photos, I guess) pages.
One or two more colors would be a good idea (yellow, dark blue, dark green, for instance)By the way, I would prefer a search button like in ARGO (sliding instead of popup)

October 8, 2013 at 12:31 am #508302Wow wow wow
The navigation icon (http://awesomescreenshot.com/08d1swnl9c) is awesome. Thanks JoomlArt, definitely I am going to switch to this template as soon as you release!
Is there any new module used in Video & Photo page?

October 8, 2013 at 1:53 am #508306Nope, there is no new module in Video & Photo pages. The new thing is that we provide new blog layout for media (Video & Photo), named “Magz Media Blog“.

October 8, 2013 at 8:48 am #508353Hi thanks for your quick response. The photo and video page are really look great. I don’t think I need additional extension for photo and video with this template.
Is there any related plugin used for “YOU MAY ALSO LIKE:” at the end of article, video, and photo?
Would be great if you can create a demo website without EasyBlog, just pure Joomla core.

This allows loading related articles in media (video/photo) page. When it’s enabled, you also have ability to set the number of columns in which to show articles and number of article showing in columns.

October 8, 2013 at 10:05 pm #508404I will repeat some suggestions here and the template will be really great…
– K2 option
– Article page layout options – like the Ja-Fubix
– A top of the page news feature module like the Argo or Fubix frontpage/sections
– Block and wide option – important
– wallpaper ad option – important
– shopping cart option
– Can you also include changing sections with the side arrows you introduced in the article pages? Thanks

October 9, 2013 at 11:58 am #508486Yes, PLEASE go back to K2….EasyBlog is not good..how many popular news sites do you see with a top horizontal bar like EasyBlog does? Its awful…
Add to it, K2 has so so so many more extensions that are compatible with it….
I know some people have complained about K2 in the past, but I would argue those people have not used k2 before, or they simply dont know how to use it.
Having K2 allows people to build anything…a webshop, business directory, etc, etc, etc…EasyBlog does not…
Honestly, I would rather use the default Joomla content system than EasyBlog.
_
Can I also ask why you went with JoomShopping? Joomshopping was removed from Joomla extension directory for review not long after you started using it for your template (its back there now)….i honestly hate it……I would rather Hikashop, or maybe the new eShop thats recently hit the Joomlasphere.
___________
Regarding this template, i like it (dont like the menu on the left (hope this can be disabled). This template is a little to basic, needs some sort of slideshow, tabs, and use of the JA News Featured Module….similar to JA Nex.
Thanks,

October 9, 2013 at 1:25 pm #508490EasyBlog is the BEST blogging platform out there. K2 is free and hasn’t changed in years. Fork out the money and try EasyBlog…K2 time has passed and if you are using it so is your sites SEO ratings.

Joomshopping was one that was asked for by a lot of people which is why I am guessing it was chosen. Not my personal choice. Why it was removed we can only speculate but it is back there now and doing well on the JED. K2 was something I detested but with so many of its features now incorporated into the Joomla core such as multiple layouts etc IMHO it has had its day. It has its own db tables for content and was a pain to code for so from that point of view I am glad it is no longer so heavily featured. What annoyed me most was that because of K2 the core Joomla layouts were often neglected. All the template clubs that used K2 were guilty of that. It was amazing how many templates out there that were designed with no custom Category Blog layout because of K2 for instance which was a right royal pain for those that didn’t want to use K2. It was good for Joomla 1.5 but looking forward far less so.
