When using the Off-Canvas sidebar it appears to produce a glitch once you click out of it, causing the menu to “jump” from its place and return to normal once again.
Can this be fixed? Or will there be an update on this?
Thank you for your help whatsoever.

Did you experience the same issue in our demo site?

You can post your site’s URL here so that I can have a look and if possible, some screenshots illustrating how you expect it should be.

Yes, the issue persists on the demo site. The issue is that the “X” png is loaded, then hidden, but it pushes the entire site content when the sidebar is closed. I am kind of surprised that more people have not mentioned this issue.

    To reproduce….

    Open the sidebar.
    Then close the sidebar.
A white “X” image is revealed, pushing down all site content, header, main menu, etc…
Then the “X” image is properly hidden.

Also, as present on the demo site, when a flyout on the mainmenu is opened, there is an overflow of the hidden div animation which reveals itself on top of the mainmenu. In other words, when the submenu flys in from the top, the text rides on top of the parent menu container. It looks just a little sloppy. Other than these two issues, this template is perfecto!!!

    Thanks!

Hello, this really needs to be addressed. I would figure that since it even happens on the demo site that it would be high priority. Very visible bug that degrades the sidebar experience in this awesome template. Thank you.

    Hi Ninja Lead,

I’ve noticed a release for the T3 Framework and alas this bug is not fixed. I can’t even imagine how many issues and requests that you have on your plate, but please give priority to this, as it totally affects numerous users, and is still present on the Purity III demo as of the date of this reply.

    Thanks so much

I’m sorry for this inconvenience as this is a really hard issue, my team is working on it.

While waiting for the update in the next release of T3 framework, you can try to take a backup of your site and downgrade T3 framework to version v2.1.0 here . It will help you to fix this bug.

I noticed that the demo is fixed, but that there has not been a release. Is there any updated info? Thanks.

You can try to use temporary fix with this bug as below

+ Download and extract my attachment file

+ Copy it into plugins/system/t3/base-bs3/js/off-canvas.js file and don’t forget to backup old file before changing

    1. off-canvas.zip
