I’m having a hard time getting the off canvas menu icon in the proper place

It was originally here, above the main menu creating an extra space across the top:

So then I found this thread, http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/off-canvas-menu-button-in-head-search-position/

and when I added the suggested code, it looks like this:

Would it be possible to put it to the left of the logo at the top?

NOTE: the icon is just a light blue box in the screenshot.

Well, it appears in IE. I believe I have it set to only appear on narrow screens. Why it appears on wide versions in IE I’m not sure.

Could you take a peek in IE?

Try This . . . .

Within your custom.css file – at line 25 – make the following modifications:


.off-canvas-toggle {
position: absolute;
top: -70px;
left: -3px;
}

SAVE CHANGES – CLEAR CACHE – REFRESH PAGE
