Everything was fine this morning. I went to work…came home…now nothing. I did not touch a thing between checking it online this morning (I just looked at it on my browser, like anyone else) and now.
Does anyone have any ideas???

May 22, 2009 at 8:54 pm #305561I take it you dont have a backup.
Can you still get into the back end? Can you change the template to see if it’s a template issue?

May 22, 2009 at 8:56 pm #305562Try to disable the module/content where you get news from the oakvillelions.org site and see if that helps out

Yes I can get into the backend still.
I do have a backup, but from a couple weeks ago.
I changed the template and it works, so it must be a template issue. Would the suggestion be to upload a new template file and delete the current one?
Thx for the help!

OK, I disabled that. Unfortunately it did not solve the problem.

If it’s not too much trouble, try to uninstall the template through Install/Uninstall manager and then try re-installing the template.theprofessor Friendtheprofessor

OK, it’s not too much trouble at all. (anything to get it working again).
Problem: when trying to instal the JA Opal template, it is not accepting it, saying “Unable to find install package”.
This is a fresh JA Opal that I downloaded from Joomlart right now.
Any suggestions?

May 22, 2009 at 9:33 pm #305571Are you sure it’s the actual ‘Template’ zip you are trying to install?

I think so. I unzipped the package that I downloaded from Joomlart. In that package there are three folders:
Templates
Quickstart
ExtensionsIn the Templates folder there is the Opal template (tpl_opal_j15.zip) and this is what i have tried to install.

May 25, 2009 at 9:11 pm #305864Well, I still don’t know what caused the problem, but I managed to upload a new Opal template to the site and will now go back to the drawing board with all of my template modifications.
Thanks to all for the help.
