January 14, 2012 at 11:20 am #172782I know we’ve had a few problems with the slideshow showing on lots of pages even though it is only set to show on the home page.
In fact I’ve been able to help a few others with solving their problems.
But it’s happening to me now after upgrading JoomShooping to v3.3.2.
What is very strange and why I need another couple of sets of eyes is that it is only happening in one of my site languages – Swiss. And only in the joomshopping module i.e. when you look at a product. If you use any other menu item the site stays as it was and behaves normally.
I really thought I’d cracked all this but maybe I can’t see the wood for the trees, hence the request for some help. Obviously I have a backup but I’d like to be able to use the added functionality in 3.3.2.
EDIT ***Moved the faulty site to http://dev.david-online.ch. You can ask for back-end login details ***
It seems to have changed the url from http://dev.david-online.ch/de/shop/jeans/unlimited-denim-jeans to http://dev.david-online.ch/de/startseite/jeans/unlimited-denim-jeans.
Why did it pick up /startseite/ ??
**While I’m on I still have a problem with the VIP page (again on the Swiss language) that Pavit spent some time helping me with but still isn’t resolved which is a layout problem.
Merci

January 18, 2012 at 9:43 am #434274Hi
Anyone had a look at this?
JoomShoppng is now at 3.4 and seems to break the template further.
NEW PROBLEMS!!
If I set home of any language as a joomshopping page (all products or all categories) then I get a 500 error.
If I set it to Manufacturers the page will open but if I click on any product the product show but the rest of the template, and I really mean the rest of the template, disappears.I don’t know if this is JS or JA but upgrading a component is normal in life oder?
As said earlier if anyone can help on the dev site ask for the login details.
Thanks

So anyone upgrading is going to have this problem too.
Will JA be updating the template and if so any idea when?
Thanks

I”m glad you got it figured out.. I’ll pass this along to the dev’s. But I can’t give you any kind of timeline.swissa Friendswissa

This is for your info.
The problem remains and is not related to that upgrade.
