Forget everything I wrote about this issue. I made a lot of tests, disabled nearly all modules, and the result is: no K2 content is published by the News Frontpage Module. Returning to native Joomla content the articles reappear. Please prove that I am wrong!

After a whole day of clicking, researching and testing here is the result:

Attention, K2 users: only FEATURED items will appear on the frontpage!
Easy, isn’t it? Should be part of the documentation!>:(

Thanks for your report.

I have checked and figure out that the K2 component is not used in the demo site of JA Teline then we did not mention it in our user-guide. Once you install and have items contained in the K2 component, you can display the items in the JA News Frontpage module on front-end
