Is it possible to enter one content item and assign it to more than one category?

    For example:

I want to enter a 9/11 related video under the section: Multimedia and Category: 9/11, and at the same time under the section: Main and Category: 9/11 (News).

Another example would be an article that could be saved under the Politics category and at the same time under the Economy category. Some articles touch on many topics and it would be useful to save them under different categories.

At the present time, when we enter a new content item, we select one section and one category using the drop-down menus. I don’t think that I can assign multiple categories to one content item. Maybe in the future version this feature could be added?

Please let me know if there is a way around it in the current version.

This missing feature is not related to Teline but to Joomla architecture. As far as I know Ja-News depends on Joomla sections and categories and is therefore unable to do what you want.
Something like multicategoriality is only possible by using a tagging solution. Have a look at joomlas extension directory.

Thank you, that was helpful. I did not know it.
