November 19, 2009 at 7:24 pm #324291Try setting error reporting on to find out the cause for the error –
First go to your site’s Global Configuration on the backend. Go to the Server tab and find the Error Reporting setting. Change Error Reporting to Maximum and click Save at the top right of the global configuration panel.
Also, pls share your template type and php version. This could help in faster resolution of the problem.

If I disable the ja_news module on the front page then it disappears. I switched error reporting on and still got no error messages showing. Just a white screen. I upgraded my php installation from 5.1.? to 5.2 and I think this is what caused it. Any ideas?
