I have on the left of my site a news module. When I open from it a link to an article, the article opens in the page layout of the home page. I would like to have it opened with another layout but I can’t figure out how to achieve this goal. In the options of the module there is nothing possibly related to this: am I trying something impossible? If someone could offer a clue I will appreciate a lot. Thanks in advance.

Hi

You can try to create a new menu item and assign that article to this new menu item. Then when you click to open, it will direct to detail article page instead of homepage.

I have already thought to this solution but it would be almost impossible to create new menu items every days for a daily news section. Thanks for your kindness.

If that news module displays articles from one category, you can create a new menu item and assign this category this new menu item.
