January 6, 2016 at 4:33 pm #840299hi there, according to our law I tried not to show the usual "terms and conditions" of jomsocial but instead to link to two differnt pages in k2 which should be opened in modal window.
So I placed the jomsocial registration files in templates/ja_social_ii/html/com_community/layouts/register
but the links don’t open in the modal window. it just loads a new window with the full url.<a href="index.php/xyz?tmpl=component" class="behovior.modal" rel="{handler: ‘iframe’, size: {x: 680, y: 370}}">
any idea? many thanks

Did you try with default JomSocial first to see it works or not?

January 11, 2016 at 8:09 am #843864If you’re using JA Social template for Jomsocial, you can edit this file:
ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/register/base.php
You can zip the file you changed and attach to your post so I can have a look.

January 12, 2016 at 2:50 am #845011I copied that ‘base.php’ file to the directory: ROOT/templates/ja_social_ii/html/com_community/layouts/register/base.php
and it works exactly like in: ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/register/base.php
Which means that the override still works here.
