ok i’ve made just a few modifications and I’m getting really close. In FF and safari on the mac I’m in business. However, I’m getting an “operation aborted” error message when accessing the site through IE on the PC.

i’m using sifr and have a sizing issue – which we are fixing – and thought that might have something to do with it. So, I removed it and stll got the errors. so i’m thinking that SIFR is not the problem.

I also thought it might have to do with a error i was getting from mtree component. So I turned it off, with no help.

I switched templates and did not get the error messages, so i’m guessing the problem lies within the template. but not sure were. I’m sure it worked in IE before i got a hold of it, so i’m hoping somebody can give me an idea were the site is choking in IE.

The error appears to be a little random, which is even more confusing. here’s the link… any help would be greatly appreciated.

well, I think I’ve isolated the problem. If i turn off the JCE Utilities mambot, the problem goes away.

this is a really clean template, so i’m guessing it”s a problem with JCE – so i’ll slide over there and see what i can find.

so i guess my question now is… has anybody used the JCE editor with this template?

What a great site that you have. Yes there’re a problem between moo.fx and JCE editor that cause a crash with IE6. If you don’t use moo.fx roller (I see you’re using a flash rotator), please remove it by following this thread.

thanks for the compliments, great template makes it easy. i got the moo.fx on hold and removed, thanks!

my only problem left is in IE6 my right modules are falling to the bottom. Seems when i go to 3 columns of intros – some of the content panes – get bigger and push the right modules down. it works fine in FF and Safari but not in IE6.

i’m using sifr, which is really acting weird in IE6 – but i have a strong fealing it has to do with the size problem above. since sifr tries to fill the space… plus i’ve turned it off and have the same problem.

some pages are fine, which is weird, but not others. some pages even use the same content items. i’m guessing its in the css somewhere.. probably something i’ve tweeked. but i cant find it… any help would be appreciated… here’s some links.

    seems fine:
