I’m about to deploy my site and have had the optimise css and js options turned off while I edit the site. Now that it’s ready I’d like to re-optimise the css and js files to make the site faster, but doing so breaks all the styles and makes the site look terrible. All the fonts change so the optimised css is definitely not working.
Anyone else had or solved this problem?

December 5, 2011 at 3:28 pm #428031Hi,
Can i see your website please? CSS and JS optimization is working fine on many different server configurations so i would like to take a closer look on that and make sure about that.
Regards
December 5, 2011 at 4:44 pm #428045No probs.
I’ve attached a couple of screenshots of the site before it’s optimised and after – the search box, page background, newsticker, and bottom links are all reverting back to the default style rather than the changes I’ve made. Unless it’s something I’ve done in the css which is entirely possible.
The site is only in testing at the moment but I’ll PM you the url.
Many thanks,

December 5, 2011 at 5:42 pm #428066Hi,
Can you please confirm if your server has gzip module enabled ?
Regards
December 6, 2011 at 9:58 am #428194Yes I’ve made sure that the code was added to the .htaccess file to enable gzip.
December 6, 2011 at 10:54 am #428206I’ve resolved this now. I’ve made a few changes to my .htaccess file which has improved performance significantly but without having to use the T3 solution which was breaking all the styles.
Feel free to mark as solved.
