It seems that the CSS files for the Ores template and the K2 component differ slightly, causing published articles to look different depending on where they are housed. I disabled the K2 css but that didn’t fix the problem. Will this be corrected in the stable release of the package?
As an example, I like the look of the category blog layout (with the large date, month, etc to the right of the article intros) that is shown in the demo. However, I would prefer to use the K2 item listings layout here instead but have it show the large date, month, etc to the right also.

Thanks for reporting
But i have not a clear look on the issue, can you pls give me those link and the snapshort
Thanks
March 30, 2010 at 4:04 am #338373I’ve attached snapshots of the same articles in the standard Joomla category blog layout and the K2 item list layout:
– The standard Joomla category blog layout draws articles from the Joomla Article Manager and publishes them in a very appealing format with the author name and date on the right.
– The K2 item list layout draws articles from the K2 component items. As you can see the articles are published differently, with the author name and date at the top of the article.
As the Ores template features K2, I was wondering if the K2 item list styling could be matched to the standard Joomla category blog styling (with the author name/date positioned nice on the right).

April 8, 2010 at 3:26 am #339549Dear watsessing!
I discussed with our dev, they talk that: at the moment, the blog overrided layout only supports for the content component, they are thinking about a best way to improve this feature for the k2, i do not make sure this will be improved in the next vesion or a new template. but I ‘ll try reseach it and try to give the solution in the next post.
Thanks
