June 28, 2014 at 3:29 pm #199245Hi Guys I have uploaded this template and have been playing around with it this evening at http://www.indonesianmaltwhiskysociety.com
I changed the Our Team section to Board of Advisors but it still come sup on the front page as Our Team with the original dummy text. I cannot find any other section where to change our team so am unsure why it is still appearing. Any ideas.
Also I removed the services button from the About menu on the top menu bar but when you scroll over About there is still a drop down box shadow. How do I stop this?
Thanks Jim

June 28, 2014 at 3:50 pm #540491Hi Pavit,
All I did was change the title and text in a module. Every time I have ever done that with any joomla template and saved it the changes have come up straight away. For some reason this time the Our Team module is still showing http://www.indonesianmaltwhiskysociety.com/index.php/about
I have gone through the User Guide and cannot see where it explains why this would happen. The same with the drop down menu showing even though there is no item.

No problems
In the About page the Our Team section is not the custom-html module in position features-1 but is the Contacts < Category ( Our team ) name and description , so it can be managed via menu item ( About )
Regarding the same menu item that had the submenus i simply removed the “has submenu” from template manager > Megamenu settings

June 28, 2014 at 5:54 pm #540500Thanks Pavit,
Maybe I am struggling a bit as this is the first time I have used the joomla 3 admin all my previous sites have been with Joomla 2.5 and lower.
I just followed the user guide to change the theme colour and that didn’t work either?
Maybe time to go to sleep and try again in the morning 🙂

June 28, 2014 at 7:05 pm #540503From template manager select the default template and in the theme tab assign the desired color, then check that menu items has assigned the default template.
In your case the Main menu is using the default template while about page is using the features template so you should make theme changes in the features template theme settings
It’s easier to do that to explain how
