My main page title is pulling from the news module I have on the page. I can only change this for some reason within the menu link parameter area. I want my main page title to be different than the heading of the module in question. I have overrode the page title for now by using a <title> tag in the index.php file, but I think there’s got to be a better way to do this. Doing this way make every page on my site have the same title, and that’s not going to work either…

So, how can I change the title of my page page and not affect the module on the page heading text?

You can create page title in the Menu page.

For Ex:

Go to Menus -> Main Menu which is set to default

Select any Menu for edit and you can change the page title in the Parameters (System)

And change the Page Title = enter your title in the text box and save it

Hi Chavan, thanks for your response, but that does not work. When I change the Page Title to what I want it to be for the main page (Home) it also changes the heading title on the Latest News module on my Home page. Somehow,. those 2 titles re connected. And there is nowhere in the module admin to manually change anything on the Latest News module.

Dear volotech,

I just took a look at your home page and I saw that the page title is different from the Latest News module title so I am not much sure what is the problem.
