    Hi @ all,

    i want have the positions user1+user2+user3 over the position masshead or slideshow…see the att. sample-picture please.
    …like the Sidenews-position overlay Slideshow in JA TIRIS.
    How can i do that with custom-modules?

    Thanks for helping!

    Best regards 😎

    Hi

    try this solution

    goto template manager –>ja_erio – Default–>Layout tab–> open the Default layout

    actually the default layout for block section top is

    <blocks name="top" style="xhtml">
    <block name="absolute" type="modules" style="raw">absolute</block>
    <block name="top-panel" type="modules" style="raw" main-inner="1">top-panel</block>
    <block name="mainnav" type="mainnav" main-inner="1"></block>
    <block name="header" type="header" main-inner="1"></block>
    <block name="cpanel" type="usertools/cpanel"></block>
    <block name="slideshow" type="modules">slideshow</block>
    <block name="topsl" type="spotlight" main-inner="1">user1,user2,user3,user4</block>
    <block name="topsl1" type="spotlight" main-inner="1">user5,user6,user7,user8</block>
    </blocks>

    add this line <block name=”topsl” type=”spotlight”main-inner=”1″>user17,user18,user19</block> so the new layout will be

    <blocks name="top" style="xhtml">
    <block name="absolute" type="modules" style="raw">absolute</block>
    <block name="top-panel" type="modules" style="raw" main-inner="1">top-panel</block>
    <block name="mainnav" type="mainnav" main-inner="1"></block>
    <block name="topsl" type="spotlight"main-inner="1">user17,user18,user19</block>
    <block name="header" type="header" main-inner="1"></block>
    <block name="cpanel" type="usertools/cpanel"></block>
    <block name="slideshow" type="modules">slideshow</block>
    <block name="topsl" type="spotlight" main-inner="1">user1,user2,user3,user4</block>
    <block name="topsl1" type="spotlight" main-inner="1">user5,user6,user7,user8</block>
    </blocks>

    Then goto templatesja_eriotemplateDetails.xml

    and add this three line of code in the positions section of the file

    <position>user17</position>
    <position>user18</position>
    <position>user19</position>

    Save the file clean the JaT3 Cache and publish your modules in these three new positions

    Hi pavit…and now?!…with your description i have three new user-positions…but it’s not running …and the positions are between mainnav and header.
    But, i want have this user-positions as overlay-area above the slideshow-module (the slideshow/masshead-module should be in the background).
    Do you have an solution? Thanks a lot…

    Hi Heiarn, can you tell me what suffix you used. I’d like to see how you styled it.

    @hellacool,

    Did you try with the Pavit’s solution? In which template you want to add these positions?
